STMP3600 is the 4th generation audio SoC equipped with MPEG4 codec and extra long battery life(60hours for 1 AACell) while STMP3500 is the low cost soluation with MP3 codec and competitive battery life(20~25hrs for 1 AACell). STMP3505 is belong to STMP3500 family with Flahs drive interface. Starting from 2005, the datasheet are no longer avaiable in Sigmatel's web, in which I think they are intended to hide all product information form their competitor such as Action/Chian and Telechip/Korea.
